The program provides leadership training and opportunities to develop leadership skills throughout the term. Students can choose to assist teachers in the classroom or work closely with PAGE Board members and volunteers to build leadership skills, including presentation skills, planning, creative thinking, confidence building, and listening skills.
All teens participating in the program will be awarded a Certificate of Completion at the end of the term, representing roughly 20 hours of volunteer time (5-hours of training and 15-hours of leadership experience). Participation is limited. ($25 lab fee due on Saturday, prior to the start of the training session).
Applications for the Teen Leader Volunteer Program will be approved on a case by case basis and mandatory follow up training takes place on the Saturday following the term:
